Enjoy an evening of Italian-inspired music with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra! Assistant Conductor Monica Chen leads the WSO for Mendelssohn’s lively Symphony No. 4, “Italian”. Soprano Christina Thanisch-Smith and WSO Principal trumpet Chris Fensom are featured in Scarlatti’s poignant Su le sponde del Tebro. The concert begins with Kaprálová’s charming  Suite en Miniature.

CONCERT POSTPONED

Due to the threat of dangerous driving conditions, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (WSO) has decided to postpone its visit to Brandon, originally scheduled for Wednesday, December 17.

The WSO will return to Brandon on Sunday, March 1, 2026, the next available date for the orchestra to perform at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium.

Tickets for the December 17 concert will be honoured for the new date, which will feature Mendelssohn’s radiant Symphony No. 4, Italian, and more.

If you are unable to attend the rescheduled performance on March 1, contact the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium Box Office at 204-728-9510 or via email at boxoffice@wmca.ca by Monday, February 2, 2026 to receive a refund*.

*Please note administration fees of up to $3.68 per ticket are not able to be refunded as per WMCA policy.
